| My heritage is Welsh. At the top of the page, you’ll see an image of Caernarfon Castle, which is where I was born (in Caernarfon, Wales – not in the castle!)
While I’ve been in the United States for “several” years, my approach to my work is strongly influenced by the commitment to education and training which is inherent in the Welsh culture, coupled with my beliefs in honesty, integrity and loyalty. For the past 15 years I have provided interim/part time CFO services to over forty small emerging growth companies through my company, C.F. Advisors. Learn more about C.F. Advisors, LLC here. The majority of these small emerging growth companies have had less than 5 million dollars in annual revenue. However, some of these companies have had no revenue, but have been complemented by a good concept or a good idea championed by an entrepreneur with passion and enthusiasm and an acceptance that help was needed. Now it is time for me to focus on one very important aspect of CFO work and embark on my seventh career. My professional development and the shaping of my business acumen have resulted from traveling on the following path: Engineer (Electrical of course) |
|
And now I am tying it all together with the logical and analytical creativities of an engineer, the skills and insight of a financial analyst, the experience of senior operations and financial management, and the practical experiences gained from working with many small emerging growth companies, armed with an Excel 2007 spreadsheet and a focus on financial and operational modeling.
If you can describe it;
if I can understand it;
then I can model it.
My job in working with you is to help you translate the numbers of your business into a story – making it easier for you to articulate your goals, and plan for the growth of your business.
If when working with me, you can say that you’re now a little bit smarter and a little bit wiser, I will have succeeded in imparting a little bit of my Welsh upbringing to you!
